![]() Q: I'm concerned about the fat content of nuts. Will drinking Nutmoo make me fat? A: It's true that nuts contain a high oil content. However, drinking Nutmoo in a reasonable diet will not make you fat. In a large population study of over 26 thousand Americans, it was found that the people who consumed the most nuts were the least obese.1 Q: What health benefits does Nutmoo contain? Numerous studies have shown that consuming nuts help protect the body against diseases such as heart disease and type-2 diabetes, even in subjects who were obese. Results from data from the Nurse's Health Study estimated that substituting nuts for an equivalent amount of carbohydrate in an average diet resulted in a 30% reduction in heart disease risk. Even better, when fats from nuts were substituted for saturated fats, found primarily in meat and dairy products, the risk reduction was raised to 45%.1
